Pastor Kevin & Kathy Thompson

Pastor Kevin and his wife, Kathy, have two daughters- Sarah and Katie. Kevin is ordained through the Christian and Missionary Alliance. Kevin has served as pastor at Canaan since 2003.

Before his call to pastoral ministry, Kevin had been a Christian writer and lay leader for the past twenty years. Kevin's writing ministry included adult and youth curriculum, a number of Christian dramas and newspaper articles. Kevin has been blessed to have his writing used with such groups as Plastow and Gaither Publications, Sonshine Puppet Company, and the Hendricks County Flyer.

Pastor Kevin is passionate about communicating a balanced truth from Scripture. "It is not enough to go through the motions- we need a working belief and knowledge of what and why we believe. Anything less is vulnerable to what is not true."
Kathy is an at-home mom and soon to be- empty nester! She has served in many areas of child and adult ministry. Kevin and Kathy's greatest achievement in life is their two beautiful daughters, Sarah and Katie.
